Windows Azure Platform Training Kit
Hi there current and future Windows Azure developers. The Windows Azure Technical Evangelist team is always trying to improve the way that you learn to use Windows Azure. One of the ways we do this is through the Windows Azure Platform Training Kit (WAPTK) your one stop resource for hands on labs, sample applications, videos, presentations and demo scripts.
We need your help to decide what content is most useful for you. Please review the list below of possible content ideas and vote on the ones that interest you, or you can add one of your own. If you’re providing your own feel free to come up with some scenarios that you would find of most benefit to you. As a guide to the possible topics you could consider think about:
• Windows Azure Compute: Web, Worker, and VM roles

Samples of the Windows Azure SDK for Java Developers
I'm currently trying to reach out to the Java Community to have them look at Windows Azure as a hosting platform for Java EE applications. I'm having a hard time, though, finding relevant samples or tutorials. I found the tutorials about deployment and about the Storage API, but how do I interact with the Diagnostics API and how do I access the RoleEnvironment class, etc...? This I would like to see as a lab in the training kit or, if this isn't possible yet, I would like to see the API to be extended with these features.

split customers evenly on SQL Azure Federation HOL
On the WQL Azure Federations hands-on lab, Exercise 1: Working with Federations, Task 3 – Performing Federation Split Operations, the query used to find the starting point of the new federation member has a off-by-one error. Currently, the first federation member will be created with 4 customers and the second with 6 customers, instead of splittint equally (5 customers each). The correct code would be: SELECT CustomerId FROM #tmp WHERE Id = @count / 2 + 1
