If anyone is looking for a MOLAP engine that runs on Azure check out SaasabiPro at www.saasabi.com. We have developed a fully featured engine in .net with broad extensibility and flexibility. It is has been running on Azure in customer sites for over 2 years. We have recently started offering it in a SaaS business model, exclusively on Azure. We support standard interfaces, a flexible and fast consolidation process.

Business Intelligence with out MOLAP lacks power for the users. I hope we will hear soon from you that SSAS is part of SQL AZURE...

Any chance of an update on this item? The features list on Azure only talks about using Analysis services on a dedicated VM, not as part of SQL Azure.

        Thanks

Can we deploy SSAS cube using MSBI 2008 on SQL Azzure ?
I think MSBI 2008 doesn't support deployment on SQL Azure. This feature is only supported with MSBI 2012.
        Please somebody share the knowledge.

Are you planning incluide SSAS in a suite for BI? Like Sharepoint version + SSAS + SSRS?

        Thanks

Yes This is clearly a gap that needs to be filled. It is blocking moving our BI work to the cloud.

I heared about MS BI 2012 supports Analysis Service and we can deploy the SSAS cubes on SQL Azure.
        Is it true?
        Anybody is having idea?

The future of big data computing is crying for cloud based BI capability, so microsoft would be wise to announce a clear roadmap on when olap would become available for SQL Azure.

I could use this for all my client projects, this would be a great money making tool for me and MSFT, can we get an update of release dates?

Please do this soon, I have a Azure hosted Silverlight app with an SQL Azure backend, and the customers are screaming for Cube reporting

Analysis services is critical for a complete BI suite in the cloud - why not be first.

We need this to provide a complete reporting solution.
