We are trying to use Azure storage services Javascript library to send the Rest call to blob storage.<o:p></o:p>
But, its works with the IE but, in Chrome and FireFox , we are getting 405 : HTTP verb is not supported error.<o:p></o:p>
where Requesting method it shows as " OPTIONS ". <o:p></o:p>
Hence, I didn't find anywhere that Azure storage services, support this Verb "OPTIONS" .or any work around we can do to make it work ?<o:p></o:p>7 votes -
Company account
I would like the ability to create a Company account on Azure, and add users (developers) to it with roles. Selected employees (and contractors) should have access to some of the Azure assets, but they should not get access to all of them, and should not need my Live ID to do it. The need to add people to the account and identify what they can do and what they can access is important. Currently, I have ended up creating several separate accounts to manage this.

Ability to create virtual "groups" of VMs
One of the huge values for the enterprises is to provide support for companywide ability to create “developer” VMs. It would be great if company can go and buy “virtual teams”, or so many machines that could be managed and tracked as a group. For example a group per project. Many companies using consultants for the duration of the project and at the end of the project all of those VMs are no longer required. In real live the company continues to maintain supporting infrastructure, in Azure world this cost will go away. Ability to partition those groups further (QA,…

Enable a non public and uncharged testing mode for applications.
This would allow you to upload your application(s) to the cloud but not be publicly available. Access would be enable via sign or perhaps an external ip range.
Load tests could be run against the applications using vs2010 test tools or other and a billing report could be produced based on a specific test window or just over a period of time.
This would allow developers to load and stress test applications, get a realistic picture of potential billing based on load but at no cost until go-live.
This is the only way I can see that I will be…7 votes -
Allow BPOS to be accessible programmatically from Windows Azure
We need SMTP services and email integration. BPOS is the ideal solution for this. Please open or allow easy integration from Azure to BPOS. Otherwise I'm always tied to a hosted or onpremises solution

Single signout support in ACS, also for OpenID/OAuth Identity Providers
Currently ACS support Single-Signon (Federated authentication) with multiple Identity Providers such as Facebook, Google, LiveID etc.
But they don't support Single-Signout (federated signout). This breaks the model, because to work around this we need to provide home realm discovery on our own to find the logout for each IP. Which defeats the purpose of having the ACS as a SSO hub in the first place.7 votes -
Provide SLA for single instance Azure
Currently Windows Azure Plafrorm offers SLA of 99.95% for compute service for Azure solutions that comprizes of 2 or more role instances.
However, very often Azure is used to prove untested business ideas. It does not make sense to have to pay upfront for high-availability and additional components (Azure AppFabric Cache for Session state, etc). A lot of ISV will want to go to market with one instance and if the business idea works - scale out.
So it would make sense that Microsoft defines an SLA for a solution comprizing of one role - obviously we would not expect…7 votes -
Provide cache dependency in shared cache.
Provide cache dependency in shared cache, so MVC's OutputCache can be used with custom invalidation as well.

Connect Different Deployments from the same subscription via VPN
Simmiliar to the Azure Connect Client->Service VPN functionality, we would like to allow inter-site connections.
The user scenario is that each deployment represents a different application (which requires deployment isolation). Nevertheless, each (Java) application requires a direct TCP connection to a central application that provides unified services for all other applications.

Provide a way that a worker role can start triggered by an "Enterprise-Condition-Variable"
Currently it seems that worker roles can only start as a result of busy waiting on the Azure Queue. This can lead to very expensive scenarios. Why not enabling a worker role to be started from a enterprise event (e.g. from ESB)

Extend queue message timeouts
Sometimes you want to manage messages for long running tasks. The ability to pop a message, (timeout 5min) and process it for 4 hours, updating the message every < 5min to say extend the timeout 'i am still working with it'

Add protection against deleting a production deployment
When you're running a mission critical service in Azure as one or more cloud services, deleting the production deployments my mistake can become catastrophic.
Not only because the service is suddenly out, but also, and perhaps more importantly, because you lose your public IP address. In many cases (ours included) losing the VIP reservation means weeks of downtime because we integrate with lots of banks and insurance companies many of which have a rigorous and time-consuming process for opening up their firewalls for incoming and outgoing calls to the new VIP.
As long as you either always deploy to staging…

Actively update this Feature Voting site!
This site has loads of great ideas on it - but the status levels and comments from Microsoft are "out of date" - e.g. there are lots of features in planned state which really should be completed! Please keep this voting site alive and up to date

Please clarify the price...
Before I invest my money and efforts into the development for Azure, I'd like to know exactly how much it will cost me to host my application under this cloud. Here is the exact thing I'd like to know about: if I have a few Workers within my application, what will be the billing for those? I just do not want to pay for the Workers Uptime if they do not handle any requests right now. But, from the point of view of pull-oriented architecture of the Azure Queue, I do not understand how can I shutdown the workers in…

Add better designer support in SSMS 2012 (creating tables, running procedures) to work with SQL Azure DBs
Currently any SQL work needs to be run using TSQL, add support for using the designers to modify tables, run procedures etc.
