Hi there -
In case you missed it, I wanted to flag this for you. I realize it's not support yet, but it's coming fast.
Upcoming Support in Windows Azure for .NET Framework 4
As we announced at MIX 2010, .NET 4 will be available in Windows Azure within 90 days of .NET 4 RTM. As part of our preparation for that, the latest operating system build available in Windows Azure contains the .NET 4 RC. Although you cannot use this build to run .NET 4 applications, please let us know if having .NET 4 RC in the build has any effect on your existing applications.

Thanks for the suggestion here, I understand the need. I did want to close the loop and communicate here what has been communicated by Microsoft elsewhere, Windows Azure will support .NET 4 shortly after it RTMs, not before. As the date gets closer, I'll communicate it here.

At this stage, even just having a CTP-quality local Development Fabric with .NET 4.0 support would be invaluable.

I second the response from BWC.
After .NET 4.0 goes live, we would like it to be available in the cloud.
I think that the topic title should be changed to reflect that. -

I'd 2nd that - .Net 4.0 has facilities that we want to use in Azure projects - the absence of it is therefore an issue for us.

As .NET 4.0 gets closer to live, this "beta" environment request should become to create a production environment for .NET 4.0
