Ability to set Proxy Server
Allow the ability to set the proxy server for requests on windows azure storage
I will say yes you can set the global but this isn't always ideal in all environments.

make it easy to auto-start services in web roles
As we're unable to access applicationHost.config, it seems incredibly involved to get a WCF service started automatically (for instance, so that it registers as an end-point on the Service Bus Queue).

Hi Performance SQL Azure option for Business databases.
Our SQL Azure database is 30 Gb, couple tables with 10 million rows +/-.
Performance really sucks at times. We would not mind paying a reasonable extra "performance" fee to secure more resources.
Ideally it should be included as you scale the database up.3 votes -
Add subscription offers for SQL Azure Web Edition
The SQL Azure subscription offer appears to only cover the 10GB Business edition. There are some good reasons to partition data across the smaller 1GB Web edition databases, but there is no subscription offer for these databases. Please consider adding a subscription option for other database sizes.
It would be nice if SQL Azure subscriptions were modeled after the Windows Azure subscriptions. Those are offered in small-instance hours which can be translated to instance hours for the medium, large, and extra large instances as well.

Create a Windows Phone 7 compatible StorageClient library
It would be helpful to have a StorageClient library built for use in windows phone 7 apps.

VM machine should contain software library folder so time for downloading and installing will be reduce.
Comparing with Cloudshare.com
1. VM there are very less preconfigured VM's are available.
2. They provide the access through browser good one for mobile device users.
3. Share the own machine drives for data sharing with RDP VM machine should be included.
4. Deployment of Non Microsoft (MySql and PHP) website need to make easy with tool tips and tutorials.
5. Overall Good Speed in VM machine with best BCP support.
6. Thanking you for providing preview to test the environment .3 votes -
Have preconfigured development VMs for occasional contractors
I have a full time job, with access to the Microsoft stack. Occasionally, however, I take on small contract jobs on the side that require me to use the Microsoft stack.
I definitely wouldn't use my employer's equipment or software to do side jobs. It would be useful to be able to set up a quick Azure VM with either Windows Server 2012 Datacenter or Windows Server 2008 that includes the last 3 or 4 versions of Visual Studio, plus SQL Server Express preinstalled.

MOCP for ISVs
To sell, provision, bill and manage subscriptions of ISV applications running on Windows Azure, ISVs also need to have a kind of MOCP (Microsoft Online Services Customer Portal). A first approach could be to have a white label of MOCP that ISVs will use with their customers. A second approach perhaps more ambitious would be to federate the customer “MOCP” experience to let customer have only a single CP for all their subscriptions (the Microsoft Online Services subscriptions plus all the one from ISV running on Azure).

Connecting to cloud service with multiple instances via Powershell Remoting
Connecting to VM via powershell remoting gives many flexibility to user. this can be done for the instances of a cloud service as well as VM. Now it possible to connect to instances via portal and RDP, but Powershell Remoting for instances is still missing and this feature can help user when it is needed to make some changes in each instance(Worker Role) automatically, where Powershell is the best choice to do that.

Separate billing for AppFabric Client and Server Connections
I am a service provider and want to have my clients financially accountable for the connections they use. Currently I'm responsible for all Listener connections and Host connections.

Make the Azure SDK and .net SDK available in Cloud VM- For dynamic project generation in Cloud
In liaison with one of our requirement where we need to generate the complete solution having the cloud poject (ccproj), the different worker roles and supporting call libraries in the one cloud role. Since the project count in the solution are too many (as per our requirement) we tried leveraging the parallel processing using Azure cloud infrastructure.

show me why my cpu is slow when 80%idle
Every version of windows has this habit, nothing is responding and task mamanger shows 80% idle. I suspect is might be disk swapping or something but I have no visibility as to which process is actually taking all the cycles so task manager doesnt see it.

IP address in signed storage URLs?
Almost everything is in the title: I'd like to see an IP address restriction to be added to signed URLs, in addition to the existing start and end of validity. On the client side, this would mean adding an IPAddress property to Microsoft.WindowsAzure.StorageClient.SharedAccessPolicy. If set, the IP address given would be added to the URL and signed with the rest. On the server side the Azure Blob Storage would only grant access if the timeframe and IP address matches.

a real "pay-as-you-use" solution for Azure VMs
Azure VMs can be used for several purposes. Problem is, even when stopped, you have to pay for them because they keep things allocated.
How amazing would it be to install an Azure VM (as remote workspace for example), stop it, transfer the image to storage (and only pay storage fees) and then not be charged? (like detaching)
IP reservation and resource allocation is not needed in that case, and would be really useful for companies trying to setup Cloud workspaces for employees. So we would only need a thin client connecting to that instance, with our tools installed on…3 votes -
Add functionality to check for queue with no entries (including invisible entries)
When a queue becomes empty I want to kick off some processing. However queue empty does not equal complete empty as there might be invisible objects on the queue that might come back. Thus it is not truly empty.
Functionality to check a queue _really_ empty i.e. no objects invisible or visible would be very useful.
Currently what I'm using is "peekMessage" returning null but this returns null even if there are invisible objects on the queue

Host WCF service objects outside of a host partition.
Virtualized machine environments just complicate stateless WCF service hosting. Reduce the hosting unit to the service so the service can scale without needing to manage host partitions.
