Drug product information, interactions, side effects, pharmacology, educational information, etc.
Information about the drugs, the ability to get information on how drugs interact with each other, with food, with allergies, adverse effects they may have, educational information similar to the leaflets that are included with drugs and the pharmacology of the drug. This would provide great ways to submit a list of drugs a person is taking a learn all about them and be sure that it is safe to take them together.

Anyone else have any thoughts on stock market data?
Thanks!

Add metadata to the services
I'm building a universal data browser. It can display relational data, WCF Data Services data, Amazon data, Flickr data, and much more.
The OData format is great because it allows us to get all sorts of data in a unique format. I use it to display data coming from any WCF Data Service, from the Open Government Data Initiative (OGDI), but unfortunately, I can't use it for Dallas data. This is because my tool uses the metadata exposed by the services, but it seems that Dallas does not expose metadata.
I haven't found how to get something like $metadata with…16 votesHi Fabrice,
thanks for this feedback. There is nothing like that right now. We are investigating how to expose the metadata for our services.

Duplicate data from newspaper websites
Some newspapers (eg http://www.guardian.co.uk/data-store) make a lot of interesting data available online - why not do a deal to duplicate this in Dallas? It would add loads of great, free content and do so in a way that's much more useful than a csv file or a Google spreadsheet...
15 votesHi Chris,
Have you seen our current news feed from the Associated Press? If not, you can find an overview here: http://www.pinpoint.microsoft.com/en-US/PartnerDetails.aspx?PartnerId=12884901889&ProductId=12884902241&CurrentTab=1.
You can explore the dataset by clicking the big orange “Trial” button on the right side of the page. This will take you to the Dallas Account and Subscription Management portal, where you’ll be asked to accept AP’s End User License Agreement. Once you do, you’ll be subscribed to the dataset and able to explore what it offers.
If you don’t already have a Dallas account, you’ll need a Live ID and a Dallas invitation code to create one. If you don’t already have a Dallas invitation code, you can request one at dinvite@microsoft.com.
Back to your suggestion… Is this what you had in mind?
Thanks!

JSON and JSONP
JSON data format and the JSONP capbilities are vital to integrate data into the browser based clients. Due to same origin policy restrictions, a third party site can not consume data market services from the client side unless JSONP capability is supported. I request to you take this feature into the next relases.

US Sales tax rates (all States).
While this will help any/all types of business, it will be of tremendous use for online business in the collection and remittance of sales taxes.
Ideally data should be provided by State agencies as a public service (official/accurate rates). It is in their best interest to provide this information to assist in their tax revenue and provide essential/local services - the cycle benefits everyone.
Its a wonder that this isn't already done (by State governments). The debate over internet sales tax is hampered by the real complexity of taxes across State borders.
Providing this information without the cost burden (of…
